Lithuanian Rooster Wood Ornament

Laser-cut Lithuanian wood rooster ornament that comes with a folk tale. Measures 3 1/2" tall by 3 1/2" across the widest part. Made in Lithuania.  The design was inspired by an archeological finding in Eikiotiskis, Lithuania of a rooster on an enamel pendant.

Folk tale: Rooster of the Sun, bird of the sun, you motley rooster, there is joy in your sharp laughter, in your reddish beard.  Both of your spurs hold merry steps.  I wish my walk was so jolly.  Your wings flap and wind plays in your feathers as if they were leaves of fern.
