Vintage Soviet Space Podstakannik

These commemorative Soviet space "podstakanniks" (tea glass holders) were made at the Mstyorsky Jewelry Factory in Mstyora, Russia in the early 1960s. The holder is made of Melchior, a unique Soviet alloy, which leaves a stunning matte silver finish.  It is truly Soviet mid century tea drinking in unique style.

The holder measures 2 1/2" in diameter and 3" high.
